Soft High Pile Runner - Comfy Supreme Anthracite

Q: Can I wash this rug in the washing machine?

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"No, this plush rug is not machine washable. Vacuum it regularly and shake it out outdoors now and then to keep the 30 mm pile clean and airy. Blot a fresh stain straight away with a slightly damp cloth. Do not rub."}]}]}

Q: How do I keep the long pile of this rug soft?

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"Vacuum the rug once a week on low suction, without the rotating brush, so the long fibres are not pulled loose. Shake or beat the rug out outdoors from time to time. If the pile has flattened in places, brush it back up with your hand or a soft brush."}]}]}

Q: Is this rug suitable for underfloor heating?

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"Yes, this rug is suitable for underfloor heating. With a total thickness of 35 mm it holds on to a little more heat than a thin rug, so the room takes slightly longer to warm up. The heat still passes through, so your feet stay warm."}]}]}

Q: Do I need a rug underlay with this rug?

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"On a smooth floor such as parquet, laminate or tiles, we recommend a nonslip rug underlay. This rug weighs around 2 kg per m², which makes it lighter than many other plush rugs, so it shifts more easily. An underlay keeps the rug in place and stops the corners from curling up."}]}]}

Q: Is this rug safe for a kids' room?

{"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"Yes, this rug carries the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 label and has been tested for harmful substances. The soft 30 mm pile is comfortable to sit and play on. On a smooth floor, add a nonslip rug underlay so the rug stays put when children run across it."}]}]}

Polyester

Material

Polyester is a strong synthetic fibre that does not stretch easily, keeping this rug in shape even with daily use. The fibre repels moisture and is hypoallergenic; spills are easy to blot away with a damp cloth.

Care

Polyester, like polypropylene, is easy to keep clean: vacuum regularly and blot a spill with a damp cloth, the synthetic fibre releases dirt easily.

Long, dense pile

Your feet sink in a little instead of landing on something flat.

Absorbs sound

A longer pile takes much of the sound of footsteps on a hard floor away.

Best where you go barefoot

Beside a bed, by the sofa, or in a corner you sit in.
