Care

A new cotton rug sheds a few loose fibres at first. Beat the rug outdoors or brush it with a soft brush regularly to remove loose fibres and dust. If you spill something, blot it straight away with a damp cloth. Recycled cotton absorbs moisture as quickly as new cotton, so the sooner you blot, the less the spill soaks into the rug. Keep the rug out of direct sunlight to slow down fading. A nonslip rug underlay keeps this recycled version in place and helps it last longer.
